My Role

Designer – Logo Design, Brand Support, Wireframes, UI Direction.

Overview

Start Finance is a fintech startup offering personal loans through a platform designed to simplify the borrowing experience. Their audience skews younger and digitally native, so the brand needed to communicate trust and clarity without feeling cold or corporate.

The Challenge

Finance can feel overwhelming and unapproachable, especially for first-time borrowers or younger audiences. Start Finance needed a brand and platform that simplified the process while building credibility, reassurance, and ease of use.

The Solution

Working with the brand and digital teams at Mo Works, I contributed to the logo design, visual identity, wireframes, and UI direction  across the website. We used soft, friendly colour tones, clean typography, and welcoming illustrations to give the platform a human feel. My role focused on ensuring that brand and UX(wireframes) worked together.

The Results

• Brand and site design helped launch Start Finance to market
• Improved clarity across onboarding and product flows
• Positive client feedback on the balance between professionalism and approachability
