My Role
UI Designer – Responsive Layouts, Design System & Iconography
Overview
Interskills is a national training provider offering accredited and custom training programs. Their website refresh was part of a broader brand evolution to improve clarity, credibility, and user experience across their digital touchpoints.
The Challenge
The existing website felt cluttered, outdated, and difficult to navigate. With users ranging from students to government clients, the site needed to be responsive, easy to browse, and aligned with the updated brand direction. It also had to work across multiple devices and user types without losing clarity.
The Solution
I supported the digital team at Mo Works in developing a clean and scalable design system. My focus was on creating flexible page templates, refining responsive breakpoints, and designing custom iconography to visually simplify the course offerings.
Working within the new brand guidelines, I contributed to layout structure, component consistency, and system logic to ensure that the design would be easy to hand off to developers. We prioritised readability, accessibility, and clarity. The goal was to ensure users could find key information quickly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
The Results
- Delivered modular UI templates for key pages
- Improved accessibility and user navigation
- Built a scalable system that supported future content and updates
- Positive internal feedback from both design and development teams
